BMW unveils new 6 Series Sport

BMW has announced it is to launch new sports versions of it BMW 6 Series Coupe and Convertible.

The manufacturer's Edition Sport package includes a new contoured bonnet that gives an "aggressive look" and 19-inch light alloy wheels.

BMW's new cars, which may require sports car insurance, also include an anti-roll stabilisation system that it claims enhances handling.

Motorists interested in purchasing the new models can choose from seven colours, including Imola Red and Carbon Black, which are both new to the 6 Series range of vehicles.

The 630i Edition Sport Coupe is priced on the road at £53,445, while the 650i Edition Sport Convertible will set drivers back £65,820.

Last month, the German marque unveiled the new generation of 7 Series cars, which it claims "sets a new benchmark in automotive luxury".

Car insurance customers will be able to get their hands on the new models, which include two petrol engines and one diesel, when they hit showrooms in November.
