Mercedes unveils powerful sports car insurance candidate
Sports car fans looking for a high-performance coupe could be interested in a powerful new model from Mercedes.
The SL 65 AMG Black Series has a 6.0-litre V12 engine under the bonnet and could need a sports car insurance policy.
A low profile and a retractable rear spoiler are among the model's head-turning features, along with broad mud guards.
Mercedes said: "With Nappa leather, Alcantara and carbon, the interior of the SL 65 AMG Black Series provides the perfect ambience to set the pulses of sports car enthusiasts racing."
Also inside the car is a specialist performance steering wheel, plus a start and stop button.
Website LeftLane said the vehicle was arriving on the market as the McLaren Mercedes super car approached the end of its production run.
LeftLane also said the SL 65 AMG Black would be the most "hardcore" Mercedes available until the SLC coupe arrives.
