Van maker scoops big little prize
Van manufacturer Fiat has proved its Doblo Cargo van is small and beautiful by winning an award.
The vehicle scooped best small van at the fifth annual Professional and Light Truck Awards held at the British Commercial Vehicle Show.
Bosses from Fiat said they were delighted with the accolade as judging for it is considered among the toughest in the light commercial vehicle sector.
Director of Fiat professional UK Gerry Clarke said: "Doblo's value for money, versatility and practicality is a vote winner with so many of our customers - it seems the same goes for the experts."
Van insurance customers could be interested in expert remarks commending the vehicle's loadbox space and cabin comfort.
Fiat also celebrated a silver award for its dealer in West Yorkshire, Northern Commercials, in a dealer of the year competition at the same Birmingham event.
Doblos generate between 85 and 120bhp, making the vehicle one of the fastest of its type.
The British Commercial Vehicle Show appeared at the NEC in Birmingham and attracted an estimated 30,000 visitors to hundreds of exhibits.
